Due to the very poor weather forecast for Friday, the 9th of January, with rain, sleet and snow, it has been decided to CANCEL the Toddlers' Group for this week, for safety concerns.

Wishing everyone a very happy New Year, and looking forward to seeing you all on Friday, the 16th January.

Our last morning of Summer term was fun packed with bubbles and a flavour of the sea side, with crabs shells and star fish hidden in the sand.

The children also enjoyed making sand castles. 

And of course we had water play with boats and fish.

We said farewell to the youngsters who are moving to school in September.  These children were given a bible in memory of time  with toddlers. 

Edith came along to make music to finish off the morning. 
It was a lovely way to start our holidays. 


Spring Term

Toddler group have enjoyed a very fun-packed term which has included visits from the fire brigade🚒, police🚓, Becky from a counselling service and  farmer Georgie who brought a goat 🐐 and lamb 🐑.

Our Toddlers Group

We have a thriving Toddler Group which meets on a Friday morning during term time from 10:00am until 11:30am. It is led by a team of volunteers.

Children and babies (aged 0-5) are brought along by Mums, Dads, Grandparents or Childminders and enjoy an hour and a half of free play in the hall and sanctuary.

  There are ride-on toys, construction toys, role-play and dressing up as well as cars and a garage, puzzles and books, together with sensory toys for younger children.

 There is also an opportunity to do a craft activity each week at whatever level of ability. After the toys have been cleared away the session ends with circle time which includes singing and any notices.

 The weekly sessions are led by Denise and her fantastic team on hand to serve tea, coffee, squash and biscuits.

 We are a friendly group always looking to welcome new children and their carers. We are always available to listen and to chat with you about anything! We want our toddler group to be the oasis in your week. Come and be refreshed!

We are ‘rooted and established in love’ (Ephesians 3 v17) and we want you to experience that love too; God’s all embracing, extravagant love. Come along on a Friday morning!

If you and your family would like to join us on a Sunday you would be very welcome to come then too. We have a junior church group for children who join us for the first part of the worship and then go to a separate room for their own activities, and we enjoy the noise that small children make when they stay and play alongside the adults in the main area.
