For charitable groups, we charge half the rate and for charity events we suggest a donation of half the rate.The Booking Secretary uses her discretion to offer reduced rates to certain groups.
Our Hall is used for children's parties, meetings, badminton, netball and other sports, Scouts and Guides, Toddlers, Folk Dancing, Keep Fit, Pilates and many other activities.
The Church Sanctuary provides a very flexible space with chairs arranged for services or meetings, without chairs for dance or exercise, and with tables and chairs for intimate gatherings and more casual meetings.
The Kitchen is well equipped for preparing refreshments and meals with a good range of crockery and cutlery, gas cooker and hob, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, water heater and hot and cold water to the sinks. It has serving hatches to three adjoining areas - the lounge / entrance area, the Hall and the Activity Room.
Although KMC takes no responsibility for the content of activities arranged by third parties, these should be consistent with the values of the church and there is a strict alcohol ban on the premises.
Accessibility is important to us.
The church building is equipped with an inductive loop for people with hearing difficulties.
Ramp access is available for wheelchair users, with all ground floor space on one level. A lift provides access to meeting rooms on the first floor.
Toilets and nappy-changing facilities may be found on both lower and upper floors.
